Summer/Fall Registration begins April 14

Holmes Community College registration for the 2020 summer and fall terms will begin on April 14. The college offers transferable academic courses, the Associate in Arts degree, the Associate in Applied Science degree, technical certificates and career certificates, as well as workforce training.

Holmes offers several campus locations, including the Goodman Campus, the Grenada Campus, the Ridgeland Campus, the Yazoo Center in Yazoo City and the Attala Center in Kosciusko.

Classes are offered in various formats, including: face-to-face (on campus day and evening), hybrid (online convenience + face-to-face), eLearning (online via the Internet), 8-week Short Term, 4-week Short Term (online only); and 2-week Short Term.

On-Campus Classes

• June 1, Summer First 4-Week Session & Full 8-Week Term (meets Monday and Wednesday)
• June 2, Summer Full 8-Week Term (meets Tuesday and Thursday)
• July 6, Summer Second 4-Week Session
• August 17, Fall First 8-Week Term & Full 16-Week Term
• October 12, Fall Second 8-Week Term

eLearning (Online) Classes

• June 1, Summer First 4-Week Session Online & Full 8-Week Term Online
• June 29, Summer Second 4-Week Session Online
• August 24, Fall First 8-Week Term Online & Full 15-Week Term Online
• September 21, Fall Second 4-Week Term Online
• October 19, Fall Second 8-Week Term Online

Although students may register online at any time beginning April 14  district on-campus registration dates are as follows:

• Goodman Campus: May 27 for Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; June 30 for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Aug. 12 for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
• Grenada Campus: May 26 for Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; June 30 for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Aug. 12 for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
• Ridgeland Campus: May 28 for Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; July 1 for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Aug. 13 for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
• Attala Center (Kosciusko):  Aug. 11 for the Fall Term, 4-6 p.m.
• Yazoo Center: Aug. 11 for Fall Term, 4-6 p.m.

Students wanting to register before Aug. 11 at Attala and Yazoo can come to Goodman, Grenada or Ridgeland on the days above to register before then. 

Students wanting to register for eLearning classes may register via the Internet by tapping on ENROLL NOW or may register at the campuses in Goodman, Grenada or Ridgeland.
