Enroll today in one of our instructor-led programs designed to expand your HR knowledge and skills as well as prepare you for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification exams.

If you have been planning to enhance your HR skills and knowledge and prepare for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation, now is the time to enroll in our Fall 2009 SHRM Learning System Course.

The program is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The curriculum covers the 2009 HRCI body of knowledge which develops HR competencies and decision-making skills. As part of your tuition you will receive the internationally recognized SHRM Learning System which includes workbooks, software and online tools.

Classes are: Tuesdays, August 18 – November 10, 2009 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. OR

Saturdays, August 11 – November 14, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to noon

Fees are $925 ($50 Discount will be given to CAHRA or SHRM Members)

Essentials of Human Resource Management - for those new to the HR field

The Essentials program is designed for junior HR practitioners but is also ideal for individuals involved in hiring or managing employees. The key topic areas are Essentials of HR Management, Employment Law in Your Workplace, Effective Recruitment and Selection Techniques, Basics of Compensation and Benefits, Orienting and Training Your Employees and Ensuring Quality Performance.
