ADN program exceeds benchmarks for 2010-2013
The Associate Degree Program in Nursing at Holmes Community College takes pride and responsibility in maintaining transparency and integrity in communicating our status to our consumers.
For the academic year beginning Fall 2012 - Spring 2013, which includes one evening graduating class in December 2012 (Grenada Center only), and two day graduating classes in May 2013, the composite pass rate score was 91%. This score is reflective of first writes for both campuses (Ridgeland and Grenada).
The benchmark for the total plan of evaluation is 80 percent which follows IHL guidelines. The composite score for the academic year 2011-2012 was 93 percent, the same as it was during the 2010-11 school year.
“As you can see we have met our benchmark for the past three years,” ADN instructor Tiffany Cox said. “We are persevering to show improvements not only in test scores, but in the quality of nurses we place in the community. We continue to strive for excellence, commitment, teamwork, and integrity in all aspects of our program.”
