The Construction Engineering Technology concentration emphasizes the management aspects of the construction industry. The key professional in this vast field is the construction managerm. Construction management has the final responsibility for planning, scheduling, and constructing projects designed by architects and engineers. Graduates of this concentration are employed in both office and field positions in all realms of the construction sector.
Upon successful completion of the curriculum, the graduate will earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Construction Engineering Technology. The curriculum also has the option of transfer to a university or college offering a related course of study, thereby leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Engineering Technology.
