Automotive Technology

Automotive Technology is an articulated certificate/technical instructional program designed to provide advanced and technical skills to its students. The instructional program prepares individuals to engage in the servicing and maintenance of all types of automobiles. Instruction is included in the diagnosis of malfunctions in and repair of engines; fuel, electrical, cooling, and brake systems; and drive train and suspension systems. Instruction is also given in the adjustment and reapir of individual components such as transmissions and carburetors. This program is offered at the Goodman Campus only.
