Holmes Community College offers 27 Adult Basic Education classes in 16 locations in its district. These classes are open to the public for those who have not completed high school or wish to increase their functioning level to enter college, training, or the job market. The Adult Education department encourages all adults that are interested to become involved in one of our programs.
The Attala Educational Center is the Holmes Community College GED testing center. The test is given on a monthly basis. The candidate must be 18 years of age and not enrolled in school. We strongly encourage those interested in taking the GED test to attend one of the local classes prior to taking the test.
Computer labs are also available for tutorial purposes in the areas of GED preparation. These labs are open Monday-Thursday and are located in Goodman, Ridgeland and Kosciusko.
