Student Support Services is a federally funded program, whose objectives are to improve the retention, graduation and successful transfer of our participants.
Mission Statement - The Holmes Community College Student Services Department encourages all students to grow socially and academically by providing student activities, clubs, tutoring, counseling, and other support services.
Project Services
The Student Support Services program serves 200 students on the Goodman campus and is committed to providing a supportive environment where participants will receive academic, personal, financial aid, transfer and career counseling.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to qualify for Student Support Services at Holmes Community College, students must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, enrolled at HCC, and meet at least ONE of the following criteria:
- First-generation college student (neither parent with whom you reside has a four-year degree
- Documented financial need (determined by federal guidelines)
- Documented disability
