Clubs and Organizations - Sigma Phi Sigma

The Funeral Service Technology Program at Holmes Community College was granted the charter for the Omnicron Chapter of Sigma Phi Sigma from the Mortuary Science Department of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where the Alpha Chapter and headquarters of the fraternity is located. The fraternity is designed to promote professionalism among Mortuary Science students.

Sigma Phi Sigma meets each Tuesday at 12:00 pm in Room 208 of Madison Hall on the Ridgland Campus. Activities include bake sales and fundraisers, a Food Drive at Thanksgiving for Stewpot Community Services, and a Toys for Tots Drive at Christmas.
