You will not be able to log into class until the day classes are scheduled to begin.

- Go to the site http://msvcc.desire2learn.com.
- Your USERNAME is the first letter of your first name (lowercase), your last name (lowercase) and the last four digits of your Holmes number. For example, John Doe with a student id number of H00121234 would have a username of jdoe1234. If your last name includes any hyphens or punctuation, do not include the punctuation in your username. For example, Mary O'Brian would have to leave out the apostrophe in O'Brian.
- Your PASSWORD is initially set to the same thing as your username discussed above. As with any password, you should change it once you have logged in. To change your password, once logged in, you will see a tools menu on the left of your screen. The last tool is "Personal Information". From that tool, you may change your password, and add/subtract any personal information you wish to make available. Write down your new password and do not forget it. Once changed, no one will know what it is, except you.
Log In Problems?
- Are you accessing the appropriate website for log in? Did you type the address correctly?
- Did you type your username and password correctly?
- Are you using all lowercase for your first initial and your last name like jdoe1234?
- Did you remove any punctuation from your last name?
- Do you have the last four digits of your Social Security number correct? No spaces are allowed between your last name and those four digits when typing in your username.
- Are you using your current last name? For example, if you registered under Smith-Jones to indicate your maiden and married name, the last name in your userid will be smithjones without the hyphen and no spaces.
