The Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Department is a fully approved American Heart Association Training Center. The AGA TC is authorized to proived all courses in BCLS - CPR, ACLS, PALS and First Aid.

Heartsaver CPR in Schools
This guide provides a framework to help school systems or individual schools implement the HeartSaver CPR in Schools program.
 The Heartsaver AED Course
The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking.
 Heartsaver CPR
The Heartsaver CPR Course is modular and teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims.
 The Heartsaver First Aid Course
This course provides the skills to effective assess and maintain lfe from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel.
CPR for Family and Friends
The CPR for Family and Friends course teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It covers the AHA Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults, infants, and children.

 The American Heart Association is the recognized authority in resuscitation science and training. Our courses are delivered through a national training network that ensures quality, because we understand the importance of having convenient and consistent training across multiple locations.
The Heartsaver CPR Course is a modular comprehensive course for the person who requires a credential (card) documenting successful CPR course completion. Modules that can be taught are adult CPR only, infant and child CPR only, and adult, infant and child CPR.
The HeartSaver AED Course was the first in the nation to combine hands-on AED instruction with adult CPR training. This course is designed for people who need to learn CPR and how to operate an AED. A pediatric CPR module can be added at the customer's request.
The Heartsaver First Aid Course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The core module comprises general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.
Healthcare Professional Training Courses
 ACLS
The ACLS Provider Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation / ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.
 BLS Healthcare Provider Course
This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It is intended for particpants who provide health care to patients in a variety of settings.
 Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course - PALS
The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to provide the learner with information and strategies needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
