*MAT 1323 Trigonometry and MAT 1613 Calculus I may be taken concurrently. Students are advised to take MAT 1313 and MAT 1323 in the summer before their freshman year in order to complete the Calculus sequence before transferring.

**Course sequence options are: Gen Chem I & Lab & Gen Chem II & Lab, Gen Physics I & II, Gen Physics I-A & II-A, Gen Chem I & Lab & Gen Physics I-A, Gen Chem I & Lab & Gen Physics I. Student is encouranged to consult the bulletin from his or her chosen senior college for specific course requirements.

The College offers three options:
  1. Secondary Education - first two years leading to a Mathematics Education Degree
  2. Mathematics Major - first two years leading to a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts
  3. Mathematics and Computer Science - first two years leading to a double major in mathematics and comuter science.

Students should plan to take the Praxis 1 (Pre-professional Skills Test) the first semester of their sophomore year or early in the second semester. Students must have met the minimum required score on the Praxis 1 before they will be accepted in an education program at a senior college. Acceptance into an education program is necessary before students can enroll in required junior or senior level education courses.
