The programs of the Department of Natural Science are consistent and comparable with the major four-year colleges and universities throughout the state, offering a seamless, successful transfer to these other institutions after completion of the two-year curriculum.

Mission Statement: The Department of Natural Sciences, staffed with a qualified and experienced faculty, endeavors to meet the educational needs of students and the community in the natural sciences. The depoartment's goal is to prepare students in natural science-related majors for university transfer or entry into professional schools. Quality courses provide opportunities for students to develop skills in critical thinking and an appreciation of the natural sciences. The dedicated staff strives to assure student success through the use of personal advisement and meaningful laboratory experiences.
